Respected Sir,
I would like to get your kind attention on the problems faced by the general public who use Internet Booking facility to book their ticket for their journey on www.irctc.co.in.
There are two useful websites hosted by Railways for public.
1- www.indianrail.gov.in (For Information Only)
2- www.irctc.co.in (For Booking of Tickets)
But lately both these sites are giving problems to the public in accessing it. I regularly use both these site to get information and book my tickets. Although the website www.irctc.co.in was already slow but lately it always shows errors on accessing it. Sometimes I am not able to book ticket as the service is unavailable. I have to make so many tries to get ticket booked. Same in the case of www.indianrail.gov.in, it is also too slow. Many times it shows Internal Server Error.
Sir, I request you to kindly instruct concerned officials/department to make these websites work fast and easy to load so that everyone can access it even from small towns where internet speed is very slow. I am facing this problem in city like Delhi. So, you can imagine difficulty of accessing it from small towns.
Sir, it will be very helpful for general public if you take personal interest in this matter and get all these problems solved.
