Greetings!
I'm mentally disturbed on the pathetic services of M/s. Jabalpur Motors Limited workyshop located in A.B. Road of Indore. On 19th Apr a Maruti van dashed against my Maruti Alto LX MP-09 CB 8840 near Rau, Indore. On the same day the damaged vehile was sent to the workshop for repair & replacement of damaged parts. Once the survey was done, I was informed by the technician that the liability on me will be around Rs.5000/- to which I agreed. As per the technician who was attending the vehicle confirmed to repair it within 10 days time. I contacted them on 10th day for delivery, to which they extended the dates further. After repeated follow up, finally it was handed over to me on 07th May with a bill of Rs.9500/- which was unfair on their part, as on the earlier occassion, the liability of Rs.5000/- was informed after the assessment was complete.
On checking the vehicle, I could find the faults were not attended properly i.e.
Anti theft door locking which was working prior to submission is not working anymore.
One of the door closer is broken.
Scratches are not attended properly.
Denting, penting of engine cover has been done instead of new fittings.
Bumper of backside was hanging, not fitted properly.
Engine oil, grease are left inside the vehicle.
The seat covers are in pretty bad shape.
It was informed to the workshop people & again it was carried for repair on 18th May. After much of dillidallying I was asked to collec the car on 23rd May. On 23rd May when I reached to workshop to collect my vehicle, I was informed it'll be cleaned & handed over, hence I waited. When I inspected my car in the garage, I could see the earlier complaints are yet to be resolved. Subsequently I was informed by the body shop manager the following:
A.C. compressor is having some faulty & need to be assessed by Maruti Engineer & it may take
some time.
I met the Dy (G.M.) of workshop to find out the exact reason, to which he promised to inform me within half an hour, unfortunately that information never came to me.
Following are my grievances:
When the surveyor did the evaluation, how the A.C. compressor part was left behind.
Once I was infomed that the my liability will be to the maximum extent of Rs.5000/-, how they billed to
Rs.9500/-.
If they were knowing there is still fault in the car, why they didn't inform me.
Why this much delay in rectifying the faults.
I'm asked to wait for few hours in the workshop & then it was informed of the fault.
As lot of quality time was lost & I was in mental agony, the following should be done:
The owner of M/s. Jabalpur motor should be warned.
A payment of Rs.30, 000/- should be compensated as I've undergone lot of stress, couldn't utilise the services of car for close to a month.
My case may please be suitably considered.
