Respected Sir,
This is regarding the poor, better I should say pathetic power supply in Chakradharpur (Dist: W. Singhbum, State: Jharkhand). Since ages it is the same, one after the other new faces occupies the chair with new promises but finally the vows remains vows only.
Imagine in this era, people there barely get to experience the power supply not even for 10 hours, as a matter of fact whatever pie they get, the concern there is the voltage imagine 100 W bulb glows like 0 W night lamp. If by any chance the transformer burns, it takes nearly a month to repair and that too the capital for that gets collected from the consumers mentioning that the government doesn’t have fund, even after that there is no guarantee that the new (so called) transformer will suffice the need. Number of times the complaints have been logged but no one is there to pay heed to it. No doubt electricity office is there, but not even a single person to jot down the complaint. Forget about the electricians, the officer hardly marks the attendance sheet once in a month, no questions about inspection and all.
This is my tenth letter to the officials, hope so my words will reach to the concerned person.
