Redemption cheque for UTI MF

Forwarding the mail written to karvy and have been chasing them close to a month with vague mails from different respondents everytime and no solution... Complete history attached

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is regarding a cheque which was issued almost 3 months back in favour of Dr. R.C.Dogra amounting to Rs.1 .4 lacs against the redemption of UTI ULIP which matured on 13th Feb. The cheque was returned to the Head office through your Gurgaon branch for re issuance as the Account number mentioned was wrong but it has been 3 months follow up right now with the help of Mr. Upinder of your Gurgaon branch but the status still remains unclear and we are yet to hear on the same. We have been advised by Gurgaon office that the case is being pursued by them but for unknown reasons the delay is there in processing.

Please note that Dr. R.C.Dogra is a retired Professor and the money is what he had invested from his retirement funds and this is really pathetic how he has been following up with Hyderabad HO where every time a new call centre person puts him on hold for endless time and the line keeps getting transferred with no respite in the situation and Gurgaon Office for the last 3 months.

We really do not understand what is the reason for the delay in reissuance of the cheque? What is holding you to give our genuine money back to us when it has already been issued once. It was really getting painful looking at a retired person struggling through so called private offices functioning worse than the go offices to give him the proper response.

Request the authorities to revert back with the latest status on the same for us to decide on further course of action which will be then apart from claiming the amount of 1.4 lacs, the money spent in contacting your call centres and the everyday mental harassment.
