Hi sir/ma'am,
I had purchased the KENT RO Purifier Model PEARL on 23rd of October. After the installation I noticed that the top Lid of the device did not close properly, there was a gap when it closed.
I verified the same by checking other devices of same model at the showroom and also installed devices at my friend's place.
The defect leaves space enough for insects like cockroach, ants etc. who climb through it since the purified water in the container is sweet because of which the container needs to be dismounted very other day and cleaned. How effective is a water purifier if it cannot keep such insects from getting in to the storage area!
Upon complaint to the dealer from where it was purchased, he had sent a technician who failed to rectify the problem. When I complained again on the phone he replied that there was nothing that he could do as it could not be repaired, the only option would be to replace the complete device as that part is not replaceable.
When asked for escalation he gave the number of some executive at Kent who gave the same answer.
When I had bought the device I had done appropriate research and compared it with all major players before settling for your company only because of recommendations from our friend's who incidentally have the same model and face no such issues. I request you to please escalate the matter to the right person so that the device can be replaced/repaired and save me the unnecessary task of throwing away all the filtered water every other day just to clean it from the insects floating in it.
