Cancellation of Health Insurance scheme

On 08 Jan 08 I received a call from ICICI at New Delhi on Health Insurance scheme. I replied as per querry made by your rep named Mr Mohan Kumar (91 4445583492) and Miss Neha (91 4445583551). On 09 Jan 08 I again made a call with Mr Mohan Kumar (91 4445583492) and Miss Neha (91 4445583551). I submitted my option for the Health Insurance scheme in the name of my wife instead of my name. They confirmed me that Health Insurance has been registered in the name of my wife. Also they informed me Policy number. On 26 Feb 08 I was surprised to get the policy document in my name only and not in the name of my wife. Policy number is 4034/FPS/03093655/00/000. So immediately I sent e-mail stating the facts to cancel the Insurance scheme in my name and issue in the name of my wife only. Your rep available on customer care centre confirmed me for cancellation of the scheme in my name. After a few days I got the second policy in the name of my wife.

On 11 Mar 07 I got a letter from your office (Mumbai) the full recovery details of EMI to be recoverd from the Credit Card No 5176537178570006 issued to me. The letter has been issued from your office on 14 Feb 08. Here I am saying that the policy wronlgy issued by your bank in my name may please be cancelled with the recovery details. Why I will pay the EMI for Health Insurance for which I had already denied and also sent e-mail? Please reconsile and settle this case otherwise I will be perforced to take legal advice agasinst your bank. Your early reply is solicited please. Ishwar Dayal Sah New Delhi 13 Mar 07
