I am Rajiv Gupta. My friend had purchased one lenovo laptop from ATLANTA, U.S on 22/09. My lenovo laptop S/N is EB06655888 and Model Name is 7757. Now, this laptop is not working due to some problem. I had raised one complaint in INDIA with case ID i.e. Complaint no. 2008030500000353. I am not getting positive response from service center situated in Pune India. When contacted they told me they don't have the last 3 digits of my lenovo laptop's model no. Ex. 33Q, 52A. That's why they are unable to give service. More over when I contacted the lenovo call center at their toll free number i.e. 1800-11-3324. They said your laptop is not having international warranty. I asked then but you guys only told me that your system is under international warranty till Dec.2008. But they didn't answer back.
Finally service center person are asking me to collect my Laptop from their service center.
Now my stand is what's the use of international warranty if they are refusing to provide me service for my laptop in India.
I have all the receipts with me except International warranty card as company don't give any card as they track the warranty by laptop serial no. I don't know whom to contact but I am sure if you people take up my request forward I surely get positive response from them. Please find the below details of Laptop
