In my earlier complaint I had wrongly mentioned that LG had assured me that I would be receiving a call from their Engineer within 24 Hrs. Actually it should read as 2 Hrs. and hence I started following-up when I failed to receive even a call after 2 Hrs.
The complete complaint should correctly read as follows :
THE COMPLAINT :
Today (31-05-09) at approx 1.20 pm, I called 1800-180-9999 and booked a complaint for my LG 1.5 T Windows Air Conditioner. My Complaint No. is N9C53102977
Like all other LG Products, this LG Air-Conditioner too is under AMC.
I was assured that within 2 Hrs, LG Engineer would call and fix an appointment. However, since there was no call till 3.30 pm, I called LG's Toll Free Number once again and asked to be connected to their on-duty Supervisor. The lady on the line asked me to be on ‘hold’ but disconnected the line.
Immediately I once again called and spoke to Mr. Aditya Tripati. I explained to him the situation and once again requested him to connect me to the on-duty Supervisor. However, Mr. Tripati too expressed his inability to connect me to his supervisor.
Now the time 7.50 pm but I have NOT received even a call from MARCON who is LG's authorized Service Agents for my area.
On few earlier occasions too I had faced similar situations as far as MARCON is concerned and at those times too I had made specific and formal complaints to 1800-180-9999 but it is obvious that all my complaints have fallen on deaf-ears and LG has done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to ensure that their Service Agent functions within the frame-wrok set-out by LG
Short while ago I once again called 1800-180-9999 and spoke to Mr. Mritanjay Kumar and explained the situation to him. He assured me that he would do the needful at his end and also advised me to speak to Mr. Aloke Kr. Dey, LG's Area Service In-Charge on 9830937261 but when called, this Number is SWITCHED OFF.
LG is busy advertizing their 24 x 7 Service and they are spending huge amounts in such advertisements but the fact of the matter is that LG's 24 x 7 SERVICE is nothing but an EYE-WASH aimed at fooling the Indian Public into reposing their trust and purchasing LG Products.
Not only is MARCON not interested in attending to complaints but LG's Area Service In-Charge too prefers to keep his Mobile Switched Off and take a holiday. So much for LG's 24 x 7 Service, which in actual fact is non-existant.
