I purchased an LG Viewty about two months ago. A month later the phone stopped working since the touch screen was not working. The phone was taken back to the dealer who asked me to take it to a service center. I was informed that the problem will be solved within a week. A week later the service center called me and asked me to pick up the phone and take it to another service center.

The dealer also promised that the phone would be fixed or since it was in warranty I would get a replacement. Now over a month later, I am still getting the run around and each week I am told that they need one more week to fix the problem.

Firstly the phone is not a cheap model. Secondly with all the publicity surrounding the phone the quality of service, response and commitment of the company, leaves a lot to be desired.

I am asking the dealer to give me a new unit, which is also not being honored by the company. NEVER, EVER BY AN LG PHONE. THE PRODUCT MAY LOOK GOOD, BUT THE TRUTH OF A COMPANY ONLY COMES OUT IN ITS CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND COMMITMENT TO THE WARRANTY THEY CLAIM.
