Broken door handle and no action taken for three weeks

My LG refrigerator door handle broke within a year after I purchased it, i.e in December. Luckily as it was in warranty period it was replaced by LG people. It broke again a year and a half later, in the second week of July. I lodged a complaint with their customer care people who said it would be replaced soon (Comp no. W9C7001666). I also called Vijay Sales Thane, the place from where i had purchased the refrigerator who said the LG people would replace the handle in a couple of days (complaint no.0712B100061) Since there was no response for a week I wrote an email to [email protected] on 27th july. Mr Ravinder Choudhary from customer care dept replied saying that the complaint had been forwarded to the branch service manager in my area and that I should contact Mr Janak Doshi the branch service manager. I conacted him a couple of times and he said the handle would definitely be replaced before 4th August. It is 7th August and the customer care people are unable to tell me what the problem is. I called Mr Doshi five times on his cell phone, but he is not picking it up. I wrote an email again to [email protected] but no reply so far. First of all the quality of their product is flimsy and the service provided is worse. If this is the kind of service provided by a multi national company like LG, it is deplorable. There are many better products and service providers and I would request people not to buy LG products.
