Lpg gas cylinder
Ration card is required or not?

Dear Sir / Madam

I am living in chennai, i am having a gas connection since 1995, But now i have moved from my birth place madurai to chennai and got married.

i do not any ration card, but without ration card they are not booking any cylinder.

my question is do a ration card to book for a cylinder.

please clarify.
