Sub: Non - receipt of redemption proceeds of 6.75% Bonds and interest for more than 3 yrs.

I hold the following bonds with Sh. Virendra Kumar Handa (my only son)- Bonds in the names of Sh Virendra Kumar Handa and Mrs Shanti Handa.

225 Bonds of Rs 100 each, Investor ID 95727069, Bond Certificate No. 18705559, Value of Bonds Rs 22, 500, Period 1.6.2003 to 1.6.2008.

404 Bonds of Rs 100 each, Investor ID 92975312, Bond Certificate No. 17752707, Value of Bonds Rs 40, 400, Period 1.6.2003 to 1.6.2008.

I have not recd redemption amt on these bonds of Rs 62, 900 despite 8-10 letters sent. Also interest for more than 3 yrs not received.

Mr Virendra Kumar Handa died an untimely death on 5.9.2005 for which I had sent Original Death Certificate issued by MCD and Original bonds to be updated in my name on 16.2.2006 at UTI - TSL- DMC.

I have not recd bonds in my name also.

The interest neither recd in my name nor in Sh Virendra Kumar Handa's name.

Kindly send details of encashment of interest of last 7 yrs to enable us understand the staus of interest receipt.
