Dear Sir,
I live in Anna Nagar along with my family and our gas agency is located near collector nagar, on the lane adjacent to Frontier Life Line Hospital on the Tirumangalam Ambattur Road.
We have booked for refill on the 17th of August (by physically visiting the agency) and were told that the supply will be made in 5 days time. We waited for 10 days and there was no any response. After two weeks I approached the agency again and they had excuses and again the promise of delivery in another five days.
By now I had gone five times to the gas agency and made several calls and spoke with the agent in addition to the agent's staff. It is more than a month now that since different excuses where given.
I was told that the door was locked, the delivery staff has not come, the supply load has not come and so on.
I have personally intimated that we will not be able to keep the door of the house opened all the time and most of the days during 11.00 AM and 4.00 PM there may not be anyone to answer at the door.
While booking itself, I had informed that the next door neighbour on the same building and floor will receive it our behalf (The key of the house left with the neighbour, the empty cylinder, gas book and cash kept ready for the last one month).
A few times, after getting information from the agents office and after hearing they speak to the delivery staff- Vijay over his mobile, I had gone back home and waited for the arrival. Once they gave me a fresh booking receipt and told me to give to the staff when he delivers the cylinder that day in half an hour time.
I have enough reason to believe that there is manipulation going on and the delivery staff or the agency is involved in black marketing.
Kindly give me solution before I would like to proceed further on this with statutory directions available.
