Scopio bought from India garage, Chennai run only 3880 kms. TN07 BD 9461.This morning while going on Anna Salai heart of Chennai city sudden jolt and noise heard and the driver stopped the vehicle. To our utter dismay we could see the left side rear wheel hanging out of the drum with one stud broken and all the nuts fallen out of the wheel in various places of the road. Before to this the driver had gone for about 26 kms to drop my son to college then picked from the house at a distance of 6kms from the site this has occurred. I could not believe this and i have no clue.
There could be many reasons for this: spurious fastner quality, poor shock absorber causing improper weight distribution, assembly mistake (still first service is due)
I need complete report for the reasons for this serious failure which could have caused fatal accidents to the people inside the vehicle then to public on the road. This serious safety issue need proper failure analysis (FMEA) then compensation to my risk, inconvenience, mental agony caused due to this failure on the early morning.i am rather panicked to use Scorpio now on.
