Dear sir/madam,
i purchased a maruti alto lxi from Apra Auto ltd. Rewari branch. i deposited a DD worth Rs. 2, 90, 000/- on the same day. but as the total cost of the car and accessories reached to approx. 2, 66, 000/- so the sales executive Mr. Sameer and Sales Manager of Apra (Rewari) gave me an assurance that the balance amount worth Rs. 24216/- will be refunded to me within 10 days.
i kept on visiting Apra Auto (Rewari) for almost one and half month to get my money back but they could offer me nothing but false promises and harrassment. i am a government servant and i had to sacrifice three of my casual leaves for the same.
it was only on 12-10 that the Sales executive Mr. Sameer informed me that my refund cheque is ready and i might collect the same. i requested Mr. Sameer to hand it over to me at a certain place in Rewari itself but when he did not give me any satisfactory reply then I sent my brother to collect the Bank of Baroda cheque bearing the no. 103273. The cheque was deposited in my Bank of Baroda A/c the same day.
The things became unbearable for me when i reached Bank of Baroda Branch Rewari to withdraw the money deposited through that cheque from my A/c. the bank officials informed me that there is "Insufficient Balance" in the A/c of Apra Auto so the cheque could not be processed. I rang up Mr. Sameer, the sales executive informing him about the serious lapse on their part. He asked me to stay on line to talk to A/c branch and the dealing official was unexpectedly rude and simply asked me to wait as according to him i was not the only customer they had to deal.
When i approached the bank manager to get the memo of "insufficient balance", he informed the DGM, Apra Auto who ensured the manager that the amount will be deposited within 10 minutes.
Sir, i had to wait for more than three hours there in the bank. it was simply my goodwill towards Maruti Udyog Ltd. that i did not insist upon getting the memo otherwise Apra Auto did not leave any option with me but to drag the prestigious firm to court.
I owned Maruti Car keeping in mind the name that makes usw feel proud of but the dealers are simply acting as touts harrassing the customers in one pretext or the other.
