I Mr Divyesh P Kotak, residing at Padadhari, Dist Rajkot, has applied for used car loan with State Bank of Saurashtra, Padadhari Branch, along with loan application I have enclosed following documents:

1. Last three years Income tax returns

2. Bank pass book

3. LIC premium paid receipts

4. Electricity Bill – Shop

5. BSNL land line phone bill

6. Copy PAN card

7. Bike Loan repayment statement from IndusInd Bank.

I run a business of Computer works namely Maruti Computers at Padadhari since last 22 years.

I have applied for used car loan at Padadhari branch with above all documents but the Branch manager of Padadhari Branch has denied to accept my loan application without seeing my application and replied that our bank does not give used car loans to any one except government servants. However I argued that I am ready to provide necessary security and guarantor as desired by you but he said we do not give such type of loan. Than I contacted Rajkot Zonal office and they informed that there is no such type of guidelines that the bank can give used car loans to government servants only. After that I again contacted branch manager of Padadhari Branch and requested him to please allow me to make an application for loan but he did not agree and than I asked him give me in writing stating that bank does not give such type of loan so he asked me to pay Rs 625/- which are not refundable and also said that I will not process your loan application but I paid Rs 625/- as required by him. After payment of said amount he give me reply in writing with Bankers Cheque of Rs 625/- stated that your loan application did not processed and unable to grant you loan without saying any reason for not granting of loan.

I have strong profile and I have very clear and good bank statement, I am not defrauder with any Bank. I have repaid my bike loan with Indusind Bank without fail even a single installment. With all above, Padadhari Branch Manager has denied to process my loan application.

Therefore you are humbly requested to please look in to the matter at your end at the earliest.
