Not transfer the name of booking slip

My friend booked a dzire vdi in his name in sep-08, now i want to take the delivery of the car in my name because my friend already purchased dzire vdi.now dealer refusing the delivery in my name.u tell me on which ground dealer do this.nothing is mention on booking slip, this is not transferable

at the time of booking one of the sales executive say yes.
