Sub: Harrassment & Unsatisfactory Services of M/S Harison Automobiles at Panipat, Haryana
Dear Sir,
It is a matter of great concern that recently I have approached the authorized dealers of Maruti M/S Harison Automoblies, Panipat for purchasing a new Wagon (R) VXI.
On dated, vide bill no. VSL08001209 dated 28.01.09, I purchased this car, but during dealings, I have experienced the following hardships & grievances with the dealer which I definitely want to share with you so that you can take appropriate action in the matter.
Needless to mention here that before purchasing this car from M/S Harison Automobiles, I was repeatedly told my colleagues /friends (M/S National Fertilizers Ltd.) that the services of this dealer is not upto the mark & suggested me to get my car purchased from Karnal (From my native place) which is only 30 Kms from Panipat.)
But being a PSU’s employee of NFL (Group A Company of Central Govt.) at Panipat, I opted to purchase it from this dealer but now I feel that I have committed a mistake & also feel cheated.
The following are the facts of the case :-
1. For getting delivery of the vehicle, I was to wait for abnormal time of 6 hours when all the papers like, DD no. 1100803 dated 28.01.09 & a cheque was deposited with them on dated 24.01.09.
2. At the time of delivery, an additional Rs. 500.00 was asked on the plea that I am not covered under Corporate discount of Rs. 3000.00 & only Rs. 2500.00 can be allowed.
3. Through an advertisement in local a paper, it was made clear that PSU employees will get a discount of Rs. 3000.00 whereas during transaction this was not passed on to me so far in spite of repeated requests.
4 A lengthy discussions was deliberated & at a later stage Mrs Manvi given me in writing that in lieu of this they will provide a discount of Rs. 500.00 on any accessions.
5 On dated 02.03.09, when I contacted Miss Manvi on phone, against the balance discount of Rs. 500.00, it was replied that I can get either on Body Polish, Tyre Polish & Dash board Polish & this can be collected by me on 03.03.09 at any time.
6 But, today when I approached, it was replied by Miss Manvi that Mr. Bali (Sales representative) has given the instructions that Rs. 500.00 can be availed in shape of purchasing a new Music system only which naturally a harassment of a customer & a another way of cheating.
7 From this whole episode, I have observed that the main person who has generated such type of grievances is Mr. Parul Bali (Sales representative) who during dealing/transaction also not provided a normal salesman ship & given misleading information & backed out every time to the offered commitments & since these were not provided in writing therefore I don’t want to elaborate it here.
I am not bothered for an amount of Rs. 500.00 but you will appreciate that not disclosing such misleading facts & improper dealings to the appropriate form will definitely encourage the act of bad elements.
In view the above circumstances, I am confident that you will take an early appropriate action in the matter under intimation to me
