I would like to share my experience with all, regarding my recent visit to Matheran DT: . I along with my wife and two kids (age 5 & 3) had checked in one of the good hotel at Matheran and there was an accident with my kid, she fell from the slide and her wrist and elbow joints were dislocated. We asked for the medical help, but to our surprise there was no such medical facility at Matheran, not even a Medical shop for getting the pain killer.
So we had to come down after cart ride and then taxi to Neral, with heavy discomfort and heavy pain for my kid. Even at Neral there’s was no orthopedic doctor, so had to come Mumbai.
I am just writing this to make people aware and prepare their mind before going to Matheran Hill station that God forbid, if you meet with any accident, please beware there is no Medical help at Matheran not even a Medical shop.
In spite of local authority collecting per head Rs.25/-, but they are unable to give any Medical help.
