I have received my matrix sim from Kochi, Kerala during the period 12-09. The call rates are said to have 70 local and 70 ISD calls to India free. Also upon activation in the UK, the sim is said to have 100 ISD calls free.
Not only have I been duped by not receiving the free 100 calls, the bill that I received does not show any free calls made for 70 ISD or 70 local. All the calls made have been billed. Further, I have been given a sim previously used by some other customer. I receive calls to my number from unwanted numbers on a regular basis. I had enquired why the colour of the sim was faded, however, the answer I got was, “All Matrix sims are of faded dirt colour”. While my colleagues have got fairly new sims from India.
The executive that sold me the sim is Mr. Ansar from Kochi branch. I would like to know:
1) Why I have been given a sim used and disposed by someone else? I did not pay for a used item.
2) Why the 100 free calls don’t reflect in my bill?
3) Why I don’t get 70 local and 70 ISD calls free as per the plan?
I do not consider myself liable to pay for the extra charges shown in the bill. Please give me an explanation as to why I have someone else’s leftovers and why I should pay for the calls that were guaranteed as free.
THIS IS THE MAIL SENT TO MATRIX'S COMPLAINT SECTION
They charge exhorbitant call rates compared to the sims in UK.
