I Purchased new Micromax Q3 mobile phone from one of the retailers named Electronic Kingdom at Tilak Nagar, However phone didn't work for more than a week so I went back to the retailer. He said I need to contact Service center of Micromax, I followed the list of service centers in the booklet provided with the phone & also checked the list online.
I was shocked when I visited first service center at Cannaught place, he straight way refused and said they don't deal in Micromax. Somehow I visited Rohini service center, they also refuse to check the phone as they are not dealers for micromax. This process took almost one month because I am a busy person Heading the IT department in on of the reputed Hospitals in New Delhi.
The next step I took is tried to contact the corporate office of Micromax at Gurgaon, after so many calls finally someone picked up my call and took my number, I receive a call from Mr. Chandan from Micromax, he gave me the address of new Micromax service center at Shadipur. Now I sent my phone to this place, It was basically a shop not the service center. This person took 3 days and gave me DOA and my phone back and said I need to get the phone replaced from the retailer. I was happy with the prompt response however I was unaware about the the trouble ahead. I went back to the retailer, he took the phone and atached accessaries, the bill, the DOA and said within 10 days I will get a new phone. Again it was not acceptable but the retailer said this is the normal time. I said O.K. lets wait for another 10 days. This is now 3rd month I have baught the phone but I haven't used it, I have never experienced such kind of pathetic service in my life. No I am planning to move to the consumer court. Please help and let me know what step should I take to rectify this.
