Tampering with Anti-Theft security system at first paid service (Millennium Mobility, Pune)
My Maruti Wagon R has been serviced from Millinium Mobility on 20th December (First paid service, job Card number JC00913249). I opened bonnet today on 7th March for filling Windshield water and to my surprise, I found that Anti-Theft security system was tampered. The switch which monitors opening of bonnet was not there on its place (This switch is similar to door open switch fixed at doors). That means Anti-Theft alarm/siren will not activated even after bonnet is open and Anti-Theft security system is armed.
To me, this looks a BIG racket of car theft from some of the employees of Millennium Mobility. Millennium Mobility computer system has my residential address, some of their drivers have picked up vehicle for servicing from my residence; bottom line they know the place where vehicle is parked. They can have duplicate keys as well created at time of servicing. May times vehicle pick/drop service was availed by me and anyway, vehicle is in Millennium Mobility workshop for minimum 4-5 days for each service.
Well, I do not have any proofs (to present in court of law) that this was done by some one from Millennium Mobility Workshop staff. But my vehicle is serviced at Millennium Mobility Workshop ONLY and this service was the first paid service.
This is breach of customer faith. I definitely would not go to Millennium Mobility for any next service or new vehicle purchase. I do not wish to go to Millennium Mobility fix new switch also simply because I can not TRUST Millennium Mobility staff now! I have not raised any complaint yet with them as this is very very serious issue and need investigation from POLICE department.
I wish that competent authorities should interrogate to find out if there is any such car theft racket or group is active. This is very important considering the fact that stolen vehicles are used by criminals and by terrorist as well. Needless to say that there have been many incidents where stolen vehicles are used for crimes, bomb blasts etc.
If my vehicle gets stolen my first doubt would go to Millennium Mobility Workshop staff members.
This is not any OFFICIAL complaint as I do not have proofs and do not have time to follow any legal formalities.
