I purchased the mobile handset from m/s Universal in the month of Oct. After three months, I started getting problem in the set. The basic functions of the phone is not working properly. One in 2 calls, when I use the phone, the people at other end not able to hear my voice properly.
After several experiments, I could able to find problem in the instrument. I took it to m/s Redington at TTK Road, Alwarpet, Chennai for repair. The service provider unable to provide me standby phone. Since mine is corporate connection, I could not give it for service immediately. Then I arranged the standy of my own and gave for repair in Aug'08. After a week, they returned the phone saying it is rectified. However within a month, again the same problem developed and I have given for service on Oct 4.
Now there is no guarantee that they do the repair properly. Now I have a problem that the warranty period is going to be completed by Oct 22. This I highlighted to the Motorola company and asked for
a) Replacement of my mobile instrument or
b) Extend the warranty period for one more year.
I did make request to motorola through their toll free number: 1800111211 and registered the compliant twice. No action from Company end so far.
I seek your help to resolve my issue.
