Sir/madam,
I had puchased Motorokr EM30 on 24th oct from MOBILE STORE (GREAT INDIA PLACE, NOIDA). Since then I have encountered some minor problems like phone hanging, slow audio (volume), slow processing etc. but one day i switched it off and and after many attempts it did not get on. I then submit it to the nearby service center (AMBE ELECTRONICS, J-40, SECTOR-18, NOIDA) on 31st march'09. They retuned the handset on 10th april'09. Minutes after receiving the handset I observed a new problem. When the handset was put on charging, within 2-3 minutes it prompted BATTERY FULLY CHARGED, and with the use of mobile for 5-6 minutes, battery got fully dicharged.
Then I again visited the same service center on 13th april'09, and these people suggested for battery change. They replace the battery with a new one and delivered it on next day i.e. 14th april'09. With new battery also, the same problem occured (i.e. fully charged battery in 2-3 minutes and then its full discharging with 5-6 minutes of using). I then again visited the same service center on 21 april'09, and after an hour of checking they asked to change its MOTHER BOARD. I deposited my handset along with battery. They returned both things on 9th May'09 assuring no problem. And told me that their was some voltage problem in the battery, even with the new one (and mind it not the mother board problem) and replaced the battery again. But the status was same as ever, the problem was not sorted. They have not resolved the charging problem even after 20 days (approx.) Within this period (b/w 21 April-9th May), I contact MOTOROLA SUPPORT CENTER (on 23rd APril)
and asked for "PHONE REPLACEMENT" as I haved faced numerous problem within a short tenure of its purchasing. They provided me a complaint number i.e. 090423011182.
Now I donot want to deposit my handset again as I don't think this people have enough technical knowledge about phone repairing neither do I have time.. I now not only want my handset to be replaced but also compensation from them. I was emotionally attached to this phone as it was my birthday gift from my dad.
I would also like to mention here that each visit costs me Rs. 60/- and class bunking as they close their center before my normal returning time from college. I am really mentally harrased and frustated.
