Poor performance

I purchased an lg air conditioner four months back, at first the performance was very good as months passed on the performance is degrading i.e the ac was taking so large time for cooling a single small room and also whenever i switch on the ac some foul smell is coming of it. Even when i contact customer service, the response was not good. They told that the engineer will come wintin in two days but they didnot turn up.
