This refers to one of my trip on Mumbai Gold Cab. In absence of availability of Meru Cab (which is normally my first choice), I hired a Gold Cab from Mumbai Airport on 01st April - Cab No MH01 J 9280 for Thane at about 8:30pm.
While reaching destination I came to know that the meter was showing a reading of Rs 520/- which is higher by 100/- than what normally I pay to Meru Cabs. The route followed that day was the shortest & to my surprise there was not much traffic as well on the same day.
On enquiring about such high reading, the driver rudely replies - How do I know. I'm new to this service. Whatever is shown in meter will have to be paid.
I remember seeing driver start the reading at 15.00 but on our way back when did he fidelled with meter was came as a surprise. Normally we trust Gold Cab similar to Meru Cab services but incidents like these put Gold Cab in catergory similar to those regular yellow-black taxis.
Please suggest where should we lodge official complaint for Gold Cab.
