Irregularity of train no. 169 and misbehavior as well as denying to give complain book from Stn. Superintendent Mr. M.G Thaker at Dharewad station

Dear Sir,

Myself Nilkumar Sharma, is travelling in your train no. 169 (Ajmer Passenger). The train is totally irregular. The scheduled departure as mentioned in your time table is 11:15 pm but it departed at around 2 pm. I thought it will cover the distance but to my surprise it reached Darewad at around 7 am and stopped there for more than half an hour. As I trusted your time table thinking that Train Dept. has improved, I’ve boarded in this train. But as the train was already late and it took more than half hour itself at Dharewad station, I went to the station superintendent Mr. M.G.Thaker and requested him to give me complaint book. But to my surprise he bluntly replied that he can’t give the book. He said that do whatever you can do. Nobody can do anything to me as I am having good relations with people sitting at top. And he strictly refused to give me complaint book.

Thus I went to the Mr. Shankarsinh, the guard of the train and requested him to give complain book as the train was so late. Mr. Shankarsinh coordinated and gave me complaint book. Looking to this, Mr. M.G.Thaker called to the guard and threatened and said him not to give complaint book to me. But I insisted on getting complaint book and hence he gave me the book. Now at 10:30 am, the train has reached to Mt. Abu. You can just check out the time table and see how much late the train is? Still the train is standing at Mt. Abu.

Dear Sir, I request you to reply me on the following points:

1. Why this train no. 169 is so irregular? Is it because it is local train. If the train is never leaving the station on time (Pls check past records) why you are mentioning it’s time in your time table? Why are you not motioning that the train is irregular and so don’t rely on it?

2. Are passengers travelling in this train are totally free without any work? What care are you taking for their time?

3. How can a Station Superintendent like Mr. M G Thaker deny giving complaint books? Are they not having any control from your side? Are you supporting such culprits?

4. What about the loss that I am going to suffer due to your train’s irregularity? I am not in position to attend my scheduled meeting due to your unscheduled time? Are going to compensate me? If yes, by what means?

5. Do you know any term like “Social Responsibility”? Don’t you think as an Indian if my time is wasted, this is waste of India’s time? How one can serve better to this growing country when your staff like Mr. M.G Thaker is totally irresponsible towards their duty?

I request you answer my entire questions, believe it as it has been asked as a part of RTI Act too.

Hope my complaint is not going to deaf ears. Pls let me know what future actions you’ll take for regularity of your trains?
