Sir/Mam,
I Ashish Anand a 4th year going student of National Institute of Technology, Patna got admission in 2006 in Architecture stream through All India Engineering Entrance Exam (AIEEE) held by CBSE Board. After qualifying this exam I got National Institute of Technology, Patna by counselling done under Central Counselling Board (CCB). The entire admission procedure was under the guidance of Mininstry of Human Resources (MHRD).
After taking admission in the college we came to know about another body COA (Council of Architecture) who is solely responsible for giving architects their registration number for practising on their own after the completion of the course. COA derecognised our college on behalf of lack of amenities as provided by their norms. We as student were totally not knowing about all these matter and were continuing our classes. Later on we came to know about all these and saw on the site of COA (www.coa.org) and we were shocked to see that the admissions in our college were seized since 2005. Now the condition is that it has completely removed the status of our college from their record and we are seem to land nowhere. Till now MHRD and NIT Patna are taking admissions to our college in architecture department. We took lots of steps in order to get recognition but failed because none of the authority are helping us properly. The scenario has reached at such a step that the 2005 batch will get passed out this year.
Hence on behalf of entire studentsof architecture department of National Institute of Technology, Patna would like to consider our request and take the matter to your hand and give us proper outcome.
Thanking You,
Yours faithfully,
Ashish Anand
