Non Payment of insurance claim

My friend Mr. Paritosh Dey bought a Maruti Alto bearing regn no WB 70A 5017 and it was insured by Maruti insurance. The policy was issued by National Insurance. Policy no 1552602. Atleast 2 months ago final police report for theft claim has been submitted at Cooachbehar Office of national Insurance but till date the cliam is pending. The ground that they are showing is &&-- system out of order.

Is there any remedy to it.
