We were all very happy after Mrs. Shiela Dixit declared that there will be no power cuts this years and that she will check this. Alas, We wonder whether she is aware that the power cuts continue to happen even after this. Last one week has been the worst. Power cuts during the day time are still tolerable since most of us are not at home during that time and can manage that time. But the nights 1-2-3 hours starting from 10 pm onwards! The soaring temperatures 47 degrees, schools, colleges, office next day. One is tired because of the heat, physical, mental pressures of the present day and have only the night to rejuvenate by sleeping & resting for few hours so that we are ready for the next day ordeal.
The power cuts, cuts us down, rips us apart - middle of the week and we cannot practice our basis right of resting. Middle of the week and we are more tired, lethargic for the next day. How will we perform - for ourselves, our families, our states and even our nation?? How will we think about our country if we are denied our basic rights??
As a topping to it at the peak hour of power cuts, the customer care was not approachable at all. No matter how many hours we called to almost all the numbers listed by NDPL on their bills.
We want to know when will this system get into place??
