Regarding Electricity Bill

Subject: Regarding issue related to faulty meter (Old meter no:-0702001693, Consumer No: 170011591976) and wrong bill against that meter.

I am writing this just to inform government about the working of Government Offices and I also need correct/defined resolution for this.

From last three months I am continuously follow up the electricity department (MSEB) of Maharastra located at Vishrantwadi about my issue and complain, but till date I haven’t got any resolution from there. This bill is totally wrong because my flat is too small and my meter is also new and installed in November and from that month we are getting bill of 200-300 RS only.

Detail about Complain: On 18th March one employee of electricity department comes to my home and told me that your meter was not working fine its running 40 times faster than the normal meter because of some earthing or internal problem of meter, so you should go to the electricity department and do complain of it, but that day was Sunday so I am unable to do the complaint and I have made that complain on 19th March about the faulty meter, so at that time tingre nagar electricity department workers taken the Xerox of my electricity bill and said that we will replace ASAP, but they haven, t replaced it. And after 20 days meter is burnt and our electricity is gone, again I have rushed to the tingre nagar electricity office then the same older person told me that we haven’t got time for replace the meter because of lots of other work, if you need electricity than you have to pay 700 Rs for new meter because your meter is burnt, so we are not able to replace it. At that time I told him what about bill of 26000 which I recently received then he told me that we will adjust once after taking the average reading of 15 days of new meter. Then again after 15 days I went to the same tingre nagar electricity office and request him to take the reading, then they send one person with me for reading and given me one written complain about my meter bill and told me to go to the Pratik Nagar, Vishrantwadi office and meet Employee Name Maldake of billing department then they will correct your electricity department. I meet that person neme Maldake in Pratik Nagar, Vishrantwadi Electricity office and they have taken that original complaint of meter from me and told that you have to pay 26000 if you need electricity, then I told him that I am unable to pay such a big amount and which is also wrong and I have already done a complain about it, but he have not listen anything about just taken that paper and told that we will look into this. So after getting next bill which is not corrected I again rush to Pratik Nagar, Vishrantwadi office and meet Maldake then he told me that we are working on this, and this month again I have received a bill of RS 20000 in which only 6000 is adjusted. And they have also cut the electricity supply of my house so again I have rushed to Pratik Nagar, Vishranwadi MSEB office and meet SDO of that office again they have taken my complain and told me you deposit 1000 bugs after that we will connect electricity to your house, and we will look into your complaint of wrong electricity bill. But I know again that they don, t have time to look into this, and again in next month I will face the same problem. So should you take enquiry of this issue and also how Maldake is working, and he also not having manners to speak to the consumer and with ladies as well, because he responded very badly with my wife as well.
