Subject: Sub-standard Quality of Tubeless Tyres Provided in New Honda City Model ZX.
We purchased HONDA CITY ZX car no: MH-01-AH-7466 on 13-02 from Auto Hanger Pvt Ltd. Honda- Goregaon (East)-Mumbai, I’m attaching herewith the Invoice copy of the said purchase.
Honda city provided us with Tubeless tyres which are known for their high quality, but on the 20-09 we were travelling on the Western Express Highway from Mumbai International Airport to Prabhadevi. At about 12.45am on the express highway our tyre suddenly burst. We were travelling with all the family members including my aged mother of 76years.
I had no idea that Honda being such a reputed company I would face such a problem and especially when the tyre is a tubeless tyre. I was told that these tyres do not puncture & are much better than the other tyres. I’ve been driving a Hundai Snatro for about last 10 years but never faced such a problem. It’s just about SEVEN MONTHS from the date of purchase and have driven the car for about 3, 000 km. I was faced with such a problem stranded in the night (12.45am) with all my family members on the Highway.
I am writing this to you because I feel sub-standard quality of tyres was provided to us and hence we were faced with such a problem.
I would like you’ll to look into the matter and I want a Free of cost replacement of the tyre. The car dealer did not give importance to the complain and refused to give me a free replacement of the tyre. This is the reason I’m writing to you.
