CLEANLINESS

Dear Sir

I visited Thiruvanmiyur Railway Station recently and found the whole place in a Mess. The entire

station was not cleaned perhaps for over a week or so. So tickets / bit papers were shrewn all

over the station. Also I found a Dead Dog on the Railway track which was not removed for one/

Two days.

When I checked at the Ticket counter, I was told that the New Contractor is yet to be identified

and appointed, hence there is no one to clean the station.

Most of the Railway Stations (Velachery to Beach) - are not maintained properly for reasons

best known to Southern Railway. They should not be looking at Profit for each and every

investment.

Hope Railways would look into this and do the needful not only at Thiruvanmiyur but also at

all Railways stations.
