Non Payment of Revised Pension - Case of N.C Behera, Dy. Secretary (retired), Ministry of Corporate affairs, PPO No- 860000800033

Sir,

I am a pensioner. I retired from Government service on 29/2.I have been drawing my pension w.e.f. 1/3 (PPO No – 860000800033). My pension accounts stands in the State Bank of India, Central Secretariat, North Block, New Delhi and my account number is 30283131323.As per the recommendations of the Sixth Central Pay Commission my pension has been revised and I am entitled to revised pension w.e.f 1/3. Revised pension order was issued by the Central Pension Accounting Office, Bhikaji Cama Place, New Delhi – 110066, vid their letter number -860000800033/485555/A1, dated 17/4.As per the above orders my pension has been revised from Rs.11335 to Rs.18470. I am also entitled to revised retirement gratuity and revised differential value of commutation of pension as per the above orders. But I regret to inform you that so far revised pension and difference of (I) gratuity of Rs. 332655 and (II) Commutation Value of pension of Rs.280629 as per above mentioned orders has not been drawn. I approached my bank i.e. The State Bank of India, Central Secretariat, in this regard. They advised me to contact you. Accordingly, I request you to do the needful without further delay.
