Grammatical error display on the train bogies

Sir/Madam,

I am drawing your kind attention towards the display of information on every sitting bogies of Indian trains where it is written- "To seat" from 1-80 and like that. As per the grammar it should be "to sit" inspite of "To seat" where "sit" is used as a verb always.

I would appreciate if it is changed to its right grammatical form.
