I bought a Nokia 3120 classic hand set (IMEI NO: 356851020843609) on 28/12from univercell mobiles at kottayam in kerala. After some days the phone has developed a problem, some times its cellular signal strength indicator bar on the display screen disappears. This time hand set not make incoming and out going calls. It is not happening because I am in a no network coverage area. Even if I am in full net work coverage area the problem occurs. The cellular signal strength indicator bar never comes again, The cellular signal indicator bar is displayed only I have to switch off and switch on the mobile to display the net work indicator bar and make any calls. After some times the cellular signal strength indicator bar disappears.
I have contacted Nokia care kottayam for the solution of the problem. They told me that it was because of settings problem and no need to worry about it and corrected the fault.
But the problem is again repeated and now I have to visit them at least two times every month till now. Still the problem remains. They at last register a complaint on 26/03 on behalf of my request and they told me that this is soft ware complaint and they have reinstall the software and there’ll be no problem in future. Even if the handset has re installed its software, the system doesn’t work properly and the previous problem still remains. In my view hand set has no use for me.
So what I want is a permanent solution to my handset’s problem. I cannot make any calls because of this problem It is affects my professional life, because I have to make many calls as part of my job. So you should either replaced the hand set with a new one or repair my handset, so that the problem will never comes again. So please do the appropriate action.
