Not working properly

Dear Sir/Madam,

I had purchase Nokia phone before 1 month and now my hand set is not working properly, I had shown to the Nokia customer care service centre in Bangalore but they told me we can't do anything, but when I purchased this mobile shopowner told me 1year guarantee, please tell me now what I have to do
