I have purchased Nokia Mobile - Model 6500C on 17 Aug vide bill No 132 from Balasubramanian Enterprises, 43B 4th Main Road, Nanganallur Chennai 600061 for Rs 10000/- IMEI No of the handset - 3576 98301 2555 373 . I purchased this mobile as its features were high and with a great expectation. But soonafter using it, I noticed that the battery back up was very low i.e. lasts only for 1 hour only whereas the speification says for 3 to 4 hours. With this complaint I hadedover the set to the dealer on 16 Oct 08 and I received back only on 24 Oct 08 with the reply that the defect is rectified.
But again same problem persisted as such I handed over the set to the dealer on 30 Oct 08, 10 Nov 08 and 17 Nov 08 and I got back on 05 Nov 08, 15 Nov 08 and 24 Nov 08 respectively. But it was beyond my satisfaction, I handed over the set to Nokia Customer Care, Raksha Impex GRN Anandakaliga, New No 30, Old No 194, North Usman road, CHennai 17 on 03 Dec 08 vide their job sheet No 088434038/081203/35. I was given a new handset in the end of Dec 08 but I faced the same problem with that handset also. As such I handedover the set o n 21 Jan 09 vide jobsheet No 08834038/090121/40.
Till date I have not received the set. From the above it is cristal clear that I have used the set for very few days rather it remained either with the dealer or nokia care for a longer period.
I strongly feel that the model is TOTALLY UTTER FAILURE MODEL. As such I request that I may be refunded with the money or be given another model whose battery back proves as per specification.
One more thing I would like to mention here that though the model has many features, I seldom used it because of the problem.
I seek an immediate remedy to stop my mental worries and to proceed with my routine peacefully.
