Imei number invallid

Sir,

i purchased a new nokia mobile model no. 3120 on date 01/07 and imei number is 356210/00/43 type RH-19 and code : 0516552 . i have a original bill with imei number. airtel custmer care send me message your mobile imei number is invallid. but i not belive this if this number is invallid then your company fault. so cleared my problem.
