SUBJECT: CASE OF TRUST VS ACTUAL

SET NAME: NOKIA N 73-1 MUSIC EDITION

As the subject itself says that something was trusted but it failed on actual delivery.

It all started in the year 2001 when I first entered into the relationship with NOKIA, when I first took NOKIA 3310 . Since then whenever I have thought of buying a new mobile, I have gone for NOKIA only, because it’s a trusted name.

Not even me, I have insisted my friends and others also to go for NOKIA only.

As my budget was not allowing me to go for some costly set, hence before this set all my sets were of medium range only.

But as everybody has desire to have a good and up to date mobile, hence I also could not save myself of that desire and after some arguments with my wife and with my mind, I went to the dealer and as I have already told that it will be NOKIA only hence only thing to do was to select the set.

The dealer suggested me of NOKIA N73 and as my friends have also told me about its features, it took me no time to go for it.

Hence finally on 28 th March I got this set NOKIA N73-1 MUSIC EDITION.

The first few days went very happily and I even gave a small party to my office friends also for this set.

But I was shocked and surprised to match my set with my friends same model.

I could not compare all the things but the basic and most important things, which are famous for this set were not up to the standard.

The three things which have come to my notice are :

1) The 5 way joy stick, which is the most important element of the phone is not working properly and it is responding on hard press only at the time of selection.

2) The camera of the set is having some problem and is not clear.

3) The battery back up of the set is not matching with the standards defined in the booklet provided in the pack.

After observing these faults I was totally broken and was feeling guilty of buying such a set.

I immediately contacted NOKIA Helpline and told my problems to them. It was told to me that I should approach NOKIA CARE .

I sincerely followed the instructions and visited NOKIA CARE on 10.04.08.

The service job sheet is enclosed as scanned copy for ready reference as attachment.

The ASC Engineer at the center took my set and after scanning the set the problems told by me were verified and he told me that yes there is problem which will be dealt by us and in case if we could not do that then my set will go the company for rectification.

I after hearing all this was taken back and I told him that hardly 12 days has gone by and you say that my set will be opened and attended by the technical team.

My major concern is not to get the set repaired but if it has been detected and verified by your NOKIA CARE that there are some major problems in the set, then why should I use such a costly thing after repairing. Because you also know that once a set is opened it does not give you that much satisfaction as a brand new set gives you.

So I kindly request you to please replace my set with the brand new set only to retain my satisfaction level and my long standing relationship with NOKIA.
