Nokia
Nokia with an in human approach

Only recently I came across this forum and with the intention of not missing this opportunity, though late, I still wish people at large could endorse my plight of having purchased a Nokia N-80- a phone which costed me almost my months' salary. The N-80 with an IMEI no. 358814001200692 was purchased through an authorised Nokia dealer on 21-06, with battery no.- N226020244251. The phone, from day one, rewarded me with a stand by battery back up time of less than 2 hours. Then followed a long ordeal of contacting the support centre, handing over the phone for repairs, running and chasing against failed commitments, and finally the delivery of the phone to me after nearly three months, was an unbearable shock to me. The phone was in fact handed over to me in a worn out condition! With shock and grief, after returning home, I charged the unit for the whole night. Next day was again a nightmare, as the phone behaved the same way as it did three months earlier. The battery back up in stand by mode rendered less than two hours, but this time it heated up terribly on my front shirt pocket. Readers of this episode may not believe it, but, in fact, I, out of sheer frustration, threw this damn thing to a near by gutter while driving back home, and never complained Nokia further. This is how Nokia delivered me a wi-fi 802.11/b, a high resolution display, and a 3.2 mega pixels camera, at a premium price.
