Sir,

I have purchased a brand new Nokia N82 black edition on 21/07 from "Hotspots retails Pvt. Ltd Lajpat Nagar – II, Near Central Market, New Delhi – 110024". But ever since I bought this I was facing repeated problems from the handset and it was getting hanged every alternate minute and I could not use the handset. I contacted Hotspot Lajapat Nagar – II and they refused to help me and asked me to contact Nokia care. So I submitted my handset to Nokia Care, Noida. The job sheet number and the details are attached to this email. I submitted them one and half months ago and they promised me to deliver the same within 7 days. But when I went there after 7 days they keep on extending the time. Finally after a few days I became so frustrated that I informed Nokia from their helpline number and they promised me to deliver the handset by 20th September against complaint number 2- 3BTWV5. But they failed again and informed me that my handset is going to get replaced. And as it was going to be replaced they cannot promise me a date when I will get the handset. Thus I again talked with Nokia and when I told them that I was going to inform the consumer forum they assured me that they are going to look into this matter personally. Within two hours after this conversation I got a message from HCL that my handset is ready and it is available for delivery since 24th September. But I was shocked when I went to collect my handset. They replaced t he handset with a different colour. Now they are giving me a SILVER colour and not BLACK colour. Also the phone looks pretty much old with loads of scratches and damages. Now the 19, 800 INR phone looks like a 2, 000 INR phone. Now Nokia care is asking me to accept that as they are going to close their operation from 30th September and after this they cannot give me any assurance for my handset. I am mailing you the terms and condition of their job sheet. Their nothing is mentioned that they don't have any liability of colour or scratches. Now I want to ask when I spent so much on buying a costly handset why should I compromise with an old worn out outdated broken piece of different colour handset. I spoke with Nokia care executive Ashwini on 26th September at 6.30 PM where she literally threatens me that I should accept the handset or else I will never get another one same. Details of my handset are as follows:- IME No. :- 358984013787612 Job sheet No.:- 1200239173 Now I would request you to please help me as neither HCL, Nokia, nor Hotspot is helping me and I feel completely at a lost from all sides after spending 19, 800 INR. As the phone that they are giving me I will not be able to use that nor I can sell that to anyone above 2, 000. Expecting a positive response from your end at the earliest I end here.
