Dear All,
I bought my E51 on 24th August soon i was facing the problem of battery not holding on for long. I went ot the Nokia Care Centre sometime in January. The service man told me to charge the battery for the full night in the phone switched off mode and the problem will be solved. I did the same but the problem did not solve.
I went to the Nokia Care Centre again in March and this time i was told that the battery was having voltage problem and the same is now unusable and needs to be replaced. Since the warranty of the battery is only for 6 months i was not able to make them replace the battery as because the first time when i went there, no job card was made.
I went to all the Nokia priority shop in Mumbai and I was surprised to find that none of the Shop was having a stock of the specific batter used for E51.
Now after having read so many complaints for the battery problem on so many different different bolgs on the internet i have come to a conclusion that this is a manufacturing problem and the Nokia Care peole knew of this problem and to save themself from the hassell of getting the new battery (which is not available) they are simply tried to pass the 6 months time for the battery so that we are not able to claim warranty.
If anybody can advise me as what steps i can take to resolve my problem, it would be very helpful.
With regard's
Rohit Gupta
