My name is vipul agarwal and I recently faced some problems in my phone, Nokia 5130c-2 (silver), IMEI NO. 358006/03/488024/0. The problem was that the keys were not responding except the on/off key. My phone was in the warranty period so I gave my phone for checking at the VENUS COMMUNICATION, NOKIA CARE CENTRE 115A, phase-3, main road Ashok Vihar, delhi-52 on 18/08. They told that the phone is water-logged and its keypad IC is damaged and has to be repaired, for which Rs.750 will be charged, thus, I did not give it for repair. After some time when I reached home, I noticed that the USB lid is missing from its place and the display is also not clear as it was showing a “yellowish tinge” in addition to the earlier problem. The next day when I went back there, they returned me the USB lid, saying it must have been left “by mistake”, but claimed that the display was normal. After much persuasion, they agreed that there was some fault in the display too, but that they have not checked the display earlier and so do not know about it. I was shocked by their reply and asked them to give it in writing. Now, I have the bill on which they have written that the phone is water-logged and thus, have a display and keypad problem. I am not satisfied with their inspection and I think that the problem in my handset is aggravated by their mishandling of the phone. My faith in the brand “Nokia” has taken a beating now. I request immediate action to be taken against the person (s) involved, and my problem is looked into with seriousness so as to restore the trust. You can contact me on [email protected]
