On 16.4.08, a call was received from Discount Premium Club giving information and offers of their Club. I was informed that for sending the information in brochure, Credit card information was sought from me, stating that I could avail club membership after going through the brochure. However, on having my ICICI Credit Card number, the Club representatives have charged Rs.5490/- from my Credit Card, even though, I have not given any such consent for the same. Later on, I have contacted the Customer Care centre (no. 0120-304288), but none responded to those calls. Thereafter, on 22.4. I have also sent an email to you requesting to cancel the unwanted Membership and remit the amount of Rs.5490/-, but no reply is received to the said mail.
On 12.05.08, two packets were delivered by courier service sent from your office. As I am not intending to avail the Club membership or to use the same, the same were returned in the condition, as they are delivered by the courier service.
Since the amount is not received, I have sent emails on 21.7.2008 and on 23.7.2008 to [email protected]. This time, the customer care service of Discount Premium Club refused to refund my amount of Rs.5490/-.
You are requested to kindly look into the matter and make arrangements for refund of the said amount.
