I had purchased one Onida DVD Recorder DVR-3812 for Rs. 11000/- about an year back. I received a complaing abour disc loading and I gave the product to authorised Onida service centre for repair. After one month, I received their call that the part would cost Rs. 2200/-. I confirmed them to repair the said item. After one more month passed, I was told that the said part was yet to arrive. After that i called them up not less than 10 times to receive the same reply. At last I was told that the recorder could not be repaired due to non-availability of part as the company has discontinued the product. Now the product is lying with me and is of zero value. I had just used the same for 6-8 months and coughed out Rs. 11000/-. Any justice for this??
