SERVICE COSTLIER THAN PRODUCT

Dear Sir,

I have purchased ONIDA Microwave oven for RS.7000/- two years back and ONIDA does not have their own service centres in Bangalore and they have authorised people at Bangalore for service and they can be called as spare part replacement centre rather than service engineer and last year they repalced one magnetron for Rs.1200/- and this year I registered a complaint for front panel and start button not working they gave a cost of Rs.1800/- service charges of Rs.350/- and educate us that we have to enter into Extended @ RS850/- per year if we have to avoid such replacements. This almost consumer harassement of selling a product for Rs.7000/- and without servicing and rectifying the problem they ask customers to pay back in the name of service. Is this justifiable. How do we eradicate this.
