Insurance Claim for Tata Indica

I had purchased a Tata Indica car & Insured it by Orienter Insurance co. But there is an Accident of My car during transfer of my car documents on my name. when I insured my car the car is on the name of person from whom I purchased car & the accident is on the date when the car is on my name. So the company is saying that I will not get expenses of my damage car.
