Hi,

I applied for a PAN Card last year. When I receive a PAN card with the letter I found a spell mistake in my name. So contacted my agent who filled up a form for me. He again send back the PAN Card with the request to update the spell mistake. Now they sent a letter few month later asking for the necessary documents to prove my name and my identity. But unfortunately I was out of station for that month and didn't get that letter. Finally I read that letter and realize that the deadline to submit those documents have been passed. Now i don't know what to do next? Should I send documents even if deadline had passed? Should I contact PAN card office? Please help. It will be appreciated.
