Delay in correction

I Kasturi Das submitted my passport no/G6530938 for the period 2018 for correection of the name of my father along with duely filled in application form on 22/6/09 and fees of Rs.500/- was diposited in the office file no. GUWM00211409.I am told that new copy will be issued with correct name of my father. But while surfing the net i noticed that the comment written against my file no. that police verification not yet received. But the case is something different, after police verification I already received my passport and it was given back for a mere correction. Kindly look in to the matter and do thcorrection of my father"s name.
